Retro Chaos, Future Tech
Building post-infrastructure gaming backend, one tool at a time
CheddaTech Ltd is a UK-based game technology studio building post-infrastructure backend for indie developers. We're starting with CheddaBoards • a drop-in SDK for leaderboards, player profiles, and achievements. Our games label, CheddaGames, serves as our live testing ground, proving our tools work in real production environments before we ship them to developers.
Traditional "serverless" platforms still charge per request and scale costs with usage. Post-infrastructure compute runs permanently on distributed nodes without per-request fees.
This fundamental shift enables truly free-forever services • not trials, not freemium tiers, but actually free infrastructure for indie developers. That's why CheddaBoards can offer unlimited players at zero cost.
Because cheese is timeless, delicious, and brings joy to millions. We're building gaming infrastructure with the same philosophy: simple ingredients, expert craftsmanship, and a product that only gets better with time. No artificial preservatives, no vendor lock-in, just pure, aged-to-perfection technology.
Our first infrastructure product. Post-infrastructure gaming backend for indie developers. Drop-in SDK for leaderboards, achievements, and player profiles with zero DevOps.
Our testing ground. We build retro arcade games to battle-test our infrastructure before shipping it to developers. If it works for us, it'll work for you.
Our infrastructure is open source. CheddaBoards is fully transparent, no vendor lock-in, no proprietary traps. If CheddaTech disappeared tomorrow, developers could fork the SDK and keep building. That's how infrastructure should work: transparent, trustworthy, and community-owned. Our games? Those stay proprietary • we've got to eat too. 😉
Gaming should be accessible to creators, not just corporations. We believe in:
No servers to manage. No DevOps overhead. Just build your game.
Open source infrastructure. Self-hostable. Your data stays yours.
Built by game devs, for game devs. We use our own tools.
